Goat Head Sole Spikes™ are carefully engineered, traction spikes that can be easily screwed into the soles of most any outdoor shoe. Sole Spikes™ are created to solve a common issue for outdoor enthusiasts – the need for traction while maintaining the high performance of your chosen footwear.  Fisherman constantly find themselves in slippery situations where both felt or rubber-soled shoes are unable to grip adequately making for some cold and dangerous dunkings. You may also be aware that felt soles are being outlawed in several states, with likely many more to follow.

Trail and road runners who don’t stop in the winter, have been frustrated with bulky strap-on traction devices that rob both performance and comfort. Not to mention that they can be expensive. Sole Spikes give runners the secure footing they need while maintaining the “feel” and performance of their favorite shoes at a reasonable price.

Sole Spike construction features meet the need…

• Made from cold-forged then heat-hardened, corrosion resistant stainless steel for maximum durability
• Highly engineered head provides 28 biting edges per spike for greater grip and traction
• Needle point on screw allows for easy installation without pre-boring or drilling
• Short tip prevents accidental push through to the foot
• Wider threads help the shorter tip stay in place by providing more surface area to grip inside the sole
• Serrated flange “locks” the spike into the sole to prevent back-turning and fall out
• Killer red color makes it easier to find if you happen to drop a spike in snow or gravel
• Use of Sole Spikes™ can increase the life of your sole wear and the small gauge of the tip means minimal impact to your sole if you remove the spikes later.
